We are really lucky to be able to announce that we have lined up some amazing chefs to entertain and teach you. Hosted throughout the day by MasterChef Winner Mat Follas, he will be asking the chefs probing questions and making sure the audience get the chance to grill the chefs. We are delighted to announce we have confirmed the line up below, which includes a Great British Bake Off Winner, Waitrose Cookery School, Asha Charity and not one but two MasterChef Winners.
Food Demo Tent will be open to all so pop in pull up a seat and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells from our chefs creations.

Mat Follas - MasterChef Winner 2009
Mat won the TV series BBC MasterChef in 2009, then opened his first restaurant, The Wild Garlic, to considerable national acclaim. The Wild Garlic was awarded 2 AA Rosettes and was recommended in The Good Food Guide and The Michelin guide. In 2016, Mat opened Bramble Cafe & Deli in Poundbury, Dorset, with his wife Amanda and their business partner Kate. Mat regularly runs cooking courses as well as courses on foraging & wild plants and his recipes are published in a variety of magazines including Good Food, Olive and Delicious. He has had two books published, Fish in 2015, followed by Vegetable Perfection in 2016. Mat often judges food competitions and events and is a regular judge for BBC MasterChef, The Great Taste Awards and The World Cheese Awards.
Shelina Permallo - MasterChef Winner 2012
Born in Southampton to Mauritian parents she was the 2012 MasterChef winner in 2012. Since winning she has gone on to work in television, produce two books and opened a restaurant in Southampton.
Edd Kimber - Great British Bake Off Winner
Author, baker, stylist and TV presenter, Edd was the first winner of The Great British Bake Off.
Leyli Homayoofar - Waitrose Cookery School
Currently the owner of a successful Supper Club and Catering business in Cardiff, she is also one of Waitrose’s Cookery Schools teaching staff. She is an award winning chef having worked in Michelin starred restaurants before becoming Head Chef for Jamie Oliver. She brings her take on Persian food to audiences.
Amanda Clegg - Asha Charity
Amanda is one of the co-authors of Hope & Spice, a cookbook full of authentic Indian recipes and stories of transformation from the slums of Delhi. Made to celebrate, promote and fund raise for Asha, an Indian NGO that has a 30yr track record of bringing hope and sustainable transformation to thousands of slum families. Amanda has volunteered with Asha for the last 10 years, leading many trips of volunteers to paint, do craft, and teach English in the slums; her annual trips to India are always a highlight of her year. She has worked in the food industry in brand development and innovation for her whole career, and is currently director and co-founder of Upswing Innovation, a boutique innovation and qualitative research agency. She is a passionate foodie, who loves travelling, eating out, and cooking for her family and friends.
Locally born and bred in North Cheriton, Somerset, trained at Yeovil College and Holbrook House, Matt is passionate about all things local. Matt has been leading The Eastbury kitchen and a team of seven for four years now. He was also a finalist on MasterChef in 2009 and was also a 2009 Roux Scholarship Finalist.
