The Blair Witch won’t be rearing its head, but The Greatest Showman still will!

This weekend is Leweston Events’ fourth attempt at hosting a Cinema Under the Stars event (we think that in future we might have to host it abroad to get some decent weather!).

We were sorry to have to cancel the Friday 21st showing of The Blair Witch Project on account of the Amber weather warning in place in Sherborne for high winds, however we are looking forward to showing it later in the year. The Blair Witch Project was released on 1999 and was a ground-breaking film in the ‘found footage’ horror genre. The film sees three student filmmakers try to find evidence of local legend the Blair Witch but, as you can expect from a supernatural horror, not all goes to plan. Ticketholders have been contacted regarding the postponement and will be contacted again when we have a new date scheduled for the showing.

Despite Friday’s disappointment, we are thrilled that Saturday 22nd’s showing of The Greatest Showman is still going ahead! We hope to see you all there with your best singing voices to join in with the hit musical. Gates open at 8pm and the film starts at 9pm.

Please be advised that The Greatest Showman is a ticketed event and we will not be accepting any on-the-door entries.
